	Fernando Mania: 19-year-old phenom blazing a trail toward Shea New York Daily News, March 2, 2008 Fernando Martinez never made it to Shea; the stadium didn't last long enough for that. He did make it to Citi Field, however, but he didn't last long either. His potential derailed by injuries, F-Mart would only play 47 games as a Met.
